Lovely experience. New bar lady from Belgium was fabulous. Excellent service!! We both had halloumi salad which was delicious. Would highly recommend. Little creatures beer and wither hills wine were gorgeous. Thank you.

We came here on a chilly day and this meal seriously hit the spot. The Marlborough steamed mussels were chef’s kiss — so fresh and flavourful, we enjoyed every bite. The seafood chowder was creamy, full of flavour and packed with ingredients, especially with that garlic toast — seriously comforting. And the beer battered fish & chips? On point. Crispy, tasty, and super satisfying. Everything just hit the spot. If you’re in Kaikōura and craving seafood, don’t miss this place!

What a great location, lovely staff and food. We were staying nearby and walked in for a happy hour drink and snacks. The space is great and you can't get a better view of the sea in Kaikoura. The food is delicious kiwi style pub fare and good value. The staff were friendly and the overall vibe was great. Highly recommend

Tried to sit away from a speaker as they were playing 80's bAnGeRs. Friendly staff, good portions of pub food. The gulls loved our leftovers. Amazing views from the outside deck.
